Who can benefit from reflexology?
Whatever your occupation, age, or current state of health, reflexology has something to offer you. For all stages of life (babies, children, adults, and the elderly with physical disabilities, those with serious illness, pregnant women), your reflexology treatment aims to help your body to maintain health, enhance your quality of life, meet specific needs, and relieve stress in a very pleasant way.
What can I expect from my session?
You will be lying down on your back on a massage table or in a recliner chair. Clothing remains on for all sessions. Your reflexology treatment is most often focused on one or more of the following: ears, face, hands, and feet.
HOw Soon Will I See Results?
For every person, there is a different healing and recovery period. It typically takes the body a minimum of 6 sessions to allow the neuro-pathways to start creating changes. That being said, some may experience the benefits of their reflexology treatment after just one session, while others may need more.
How do I know it's working?
Everyone will experience different symptoms from their Reflexology session. Some possible cleansing responses include but are not limited to feeling cold, excess perspiration, excess mucus production, improved urination, improved digestion, nausea, headache, feeling greatly energized, tiredness/fatigue, etc. Also, you can notice changes in tension, stress levels, blood flow and circulation, and sleep.
Are your services covered by insurance?
Some insurance providers may cover Reflexology under extended benefit packages. We do not file with insurance, but we will provide you with all of the paperwork that you need to pass onto your insurance.
